Our Company Story
On 7th March 1994, a plan became reality.
Founder & MD, Amanda Clarke knew exactly what she had
wanted to create - a First Aid training company that would
serve its clients needs with the most modern up to date techniques
and learning aids, making it fun, inspirational and easy to
learn.
By incorporating super learning strategies,
management techniques, injecting fun and group activities,
trainers built up the participant's confidence and the participants
began to enjoy their learning. Client companies learned to
rely on OPTIMUM to provide professional trainers, who turned
up on time, every time. Trainers who were well informed about
the company and got on with the job. Client companies began
to believe they could have the training they wanted at a time
to suit their business needs, not the suppliers needs and
have training delivered that was aligned with their own training
standards. The companies began to realise just how easy it
was to book courses and began to see the connection between
the enjoyable internal management training they did and the
First Aid training.
Within six months of starting the business,
the programmes captured the attention of the UK's two largest
restaurant chains that are still clients of the company today.
Loyalty was quickly established and clients were reassured
by OPTIMUM's presence, as they no longer had to worry whether
a trainer would turn up on time. At last, the administration
staff could have a worry free night and sleep well before
a first aid course started.
