From 1st October 2009 all qualifying Workplace First Aid Training will be accredited by the HSE. OPTIMUM is certified to deliver this nationally recognised qualification that complies with the new Health & Safety requirements.

How long is this new certificate now valid for?

Upon completion of the programme, you will receive a certificate valid for 3 years from the date of issue and the HSE recommend annual refresher training of 3 hours. We will be introducing the new 3 hour update course from October 2010 and course participants will be notified of the update courses. Your certificate will be stamped one each year an update is completed.

What’s included in the fees?

All participants are provided with the comprehensive OPTIMUM First Aid Manual and fees cover all course materials, HSE registration, certification, assessment and HSE qualified tutor fees / expenses. Upon successful completion of the course participants will receive an HSE nationally recognised qualification, valid for 3 years. Please note: The HSE now recommend annual refresher training.
