OPTIMUM Defibrillation Training Certificate
£99 + VAT initial training
This certificate is valid for 3 months.
Research has shown that survival of a cardiac arrest victim
is extremely time dependent. The shorter the response time
to defibrillation, the greater the chances of survival, especially
for those who collapse:
- is witnessed by someone else
- receive CPR with 4-5 minutes
- receive defibrillation within the first
8 minutes
The chance of survival for a casualty
declines by 5% with every minute that ticks by.
A bystander with basic First Aid knowledge
can administer a defibrillation shock to a victim as part
of basic life support, whenever they have been trained to
do so.
If one of your customers collapsed
and had a cardiac arrest, imagine:
- the impact your first aider(s) could have
by carrying out defibrillation.
- how much more confident your first aider
would be.
- the very positive image it will portray
to your other customers when the first aider is confident
and competent.
- the good PR which will come from successful
attempts at defibrillation.
AED’s now permit First Aiders the opportunity
and ability to defibrillate a casualty.
This course will enhance your First Aiders
knowledge and skills so that they can use the defibrillators
